Lights on the Lake is partnering with "Feed Our Vets" for its third Salute Our Troops night, giving back with help from the Central New York community. It all started with Retired Postmaster Richard Purcell, a hungry veteran and a single stamp. As SNAP benefits resume after the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, the non-profit is set to break one million pounds of food distributed by the end of the year.
